Students per Class: 12
Class Description:
1:12:1 Special Education Classroom in a District Based Middle School Setting. All students are able to benefit from being in a district middle school but require the support of a small self contained classroom for instruction. Students are mainstreamed as appropriate.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
The students in my classroom have multiple disabilities. They require moderate to intense assistance and several students have one to one aides. Students recieve a variety of related service such as speech, occupational and physical therapy. My students benefit from a variety of instuctional techniques including hands on activites and USE OF TECHNOLOGY.
My Philosophy:
The classroom needs to be a safe, nurturing, and positve environment. When students love coming to school everyday, they will work to their full potential.

At school I get to smile every day!! My student's even the most challenging ones bring me tremendous joy when I see them making gains in the classroom and community.
