Class Description:
I teach both English and Web Design classes. My largest class in 20 students.
Position:
English and Web Design Teacher
Needs:
We are beginning to acquire more technology resources, but we don't always get all the gizmos that accompany the new technology. It would be helpful to have all the parts to make the class function more smoothly.
My Philosophy:
I enjoy a lively class where students are able to interact with their curriculum. It is essential for the students to be able to really understand the information and to obtain it in a way that is unique and specialized for their learning needs.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been teaching since 2003 in Kansas City. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching. I have learned more than I ever thought possible from my students. I am married and we have to dogs. Family is of incredible importance to me.
College and Degrees:
I have a Bachelor's in English/SecondaryEducation. I am working towards obtaining my masters degree as we speak.
Activities:
I, personally, enjoy playing soccer, going boating, spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the lake, and reading. I sponsor the class of 2014. I coach cheerleading. I serve on the Park Board of my town. I volunteer my assistance whenever possible.
Favorite Books:
Anything written by Nicholas Sparks and Oliver Twist are my favorites.
Interests:
living life!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I genuinely believe that our students need a good education. It is important to, not only, impart knowledge, but to also teach compassion and demonstrate love.
