I facilitate technology/21 Century skills for teachers and provide professional develpment accross the district.
Position:
Instructional technology specialist
Needs:
We need funds to keep our teachers current with technology. I would love to fund a 3 credit course for my ELA and Math Teachers. Teachers are expected to stay current but often not given the funding or opportunity to do so.
My Philosophy:
I believe that we are becoming a flat society and it is our responsiblity as educators to make sure our students have the global skills to be able to compete with the world around them.
