Class Description:
I teach integrated math as well as a math elective. The math elective is designed to support students who need additional assistance in integrated math. I teach primarily low-level youth in a Title 1 school.
Position:
Math Teacher
Needs:
To differentiate instruction, I would like to incorporate more technology based lessons that capitalize on the learning styles and special needs of my students. Optimally, each student would have access to a laptop where they can connect and respond using a keyboard or tablet feature. Minimally, I would like to set up a station for technology-based enrichment, skill practice and remediation.
My Philosophy:
I believe that every child can learn. It is my professional responsibility to explore research-based strategies that will engage all learners.

I worked for over 17 years as a software engineer and consultant before transitioning to education. As a new teacher, I am excited about the opportunity to merge my technical expertise with role as a teacher.
