Class Description:
My classes may range from 10 students to 30 students. I currently teach all 8th grade students both Science and History. I work with both 6th and 7th grade students for science academic intervention.

Needs:
I currently have 18 laptop computers that vary in age from 5-10 years old. Many of my keyboards are missing keys which cannot be replaced. The software currently used is very outdated, and there is little money that can currently be applied to technology. I want my students to have the opportunity to have up-to-date technology like they will use when they leave school. I am very well trained in the use of technology and use it on a daily basis. I would like to be able to put a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 or 3 in the hands of every student in the school. My students currently do all of their work on these outdated computers. My Philosophy:
Students will only learn to use the technology they will be required to operate if they use it daily. They are only limited in their capabilities in what we are able to provide them with.

About Me:
My name is Chris Wingo and I am a Regular Education Teacher at Atoka Middle School. I have been educating young minds in the fields of Social Studies and Science for the past 8 years. I served my country for ten years in the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army as both enlisted and officer. I have been married to the same wonderful woman for 18 years and have three amazing sons.
College and Degrees:
B.A. in Criminal Justice, Minor in Military Science from East Central University in Ada OK.
