Needs:
I would really appreciate a new projector with a smartboard preferably one that could a large one since the room is large and students need to be able to see from the back of the room. I would also like to hang it up on the wall or from the ceiling... I have also requested a camera so that my students can use it for many different projects. This would be something new to them so their would be many new lessons that could be developed around this. I teach business classes, (computer applications, MS Office etc.) so the focus would be how to apply pictures to their lives and how the business world would how pictures to publicize/enhancetheir business.
My Philosophy:
Is to encourage students to experiment with all types of media so that they have the experiences to take with them because they do not know what they will need once they go to college or begin their work life!

Why Do I Teach?:
I was transfered to Manchester Pre K - 8th grade this year. We have new computers but nothing else! I was able to get a projector to go with the smart board but these students need so much more. They have no formal skills in computer knowledge at all. I am starting from the ground floor. That is an awsome responsibility and I really want to do the best job I can for them.
