Class Description:
I teach 10th grade World Literature, 9-12th grade Theatre Arts and 10-12th grade Theatre Workshop. My students are from diverse backgrounds. In fact, our school has been described as a mini United Nations as our student population speaks up to 35 different languages.
Position:
English Teacher & Drama Director
Needs:
We are a Title 1 school district with very limited spending possibilities. We don't even have any extra money for normal classroom supplies. Any assistance would be most appreciated.
My Philosophy:
I believe every student has the ability to succeed. All they need is encouragement. Because technology is a distraction to homework and studying, the more technology we can use to grabe their attention in the classroom, the more willing they may become to do the work themselves.
