Room Number: LMC
Students per Class: approximately 1200
Class Description:
We work with all grade levels and all subject areas in the LMC. Classes come in to use our resources, and we go out to classrooms to teach lessons.
Position:
Library Media Specialist
Needs:
Our needs are to equip students and staff with the knowledge necessary to be independent users of ideas and information in a digital world that changes faster than the availability of our technology funds.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students can learn given the motivation to do so, and that they are truly more capable of keeping up with technology than most adults. We need to supply them with the tools they need and desire in order for them to be prepared technologically for a quickly changing digital world. Technology not only motivates the unmotivated, but also enables them to be more efficient learners. It is our responsibility to provide them with every opportunity to become ethical producers and consumers of information.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love to read and want to share my love of reading YA contemporary novels with students. My wish is to inspire them to be lifelong readers and learners. I hope to help students and staff become more efficient, ethical users of ideas and information.
