My Philosophy:
It isn't knowing how smart a given student is, but HOW that student is smart that is the key to engaging that student and helping that student to love learning and engage and take responsibility for his or her education.
Personal Information:

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because teaching allows me to truly be a lifelong learner. I teach because students and parents lift my spirits and break my heart on a regular basis. I teach because a teacher changed my life for the infinitely better when I was eleven years old. I teach because I can't imagine anything more fulfilling or rewarding than engaging children in inquiring and learning about the world they live in.
