About Me:
I'm an avid backpacker and outdoor enthusiast, an organic vegetable gardener, and a believer in the power of technology used in the right way to enhance student learning and achievement.
College and Degrees:
Bachelor of Arts, San Francisco State University, 2002 summa cum laude
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because teaching allows me to truly be a lifelong learner. I teach because students and parents lift my spirits and break my heart on a regular basis. I teach because a teacher changed my life for the infinitely better when I was eleven years old. I teach because I can't imagine anything more fulfilling or rewarding than engaging children in inquiring and learning about the world they live in.
