Class Information:

Students per Class: 7
Class Description:
While our class may be small in numbers our desire to succeed is great! We are a special education class with a diverse group of learners. Most of the class has both low receptive and expressive language skills.
Position:
Foundations teacher
Needs:
One way in which we call all communicate is through pictures. Right now our teachers are the photographers. We would like an inexpensive tough digital camera. Little Tikes, Fisher Price, and Discovery Kids all make digital cameras in the $40-$50 dollar range. If our class had the camera the children can serve as their own historians and be incorporated into countless lessons. In the future we would also love a kid friendly digital camera so we could incorporat pod casting (after Mrs. S has her daughter teach her) into the classroom as well. This would be a great way to share information with our families and peers.

Why Do I Teach?:

I enjoyed the training aspect of my job and decided to look into what it would take to become a teacher. I never look back as I know now I am where I want to be
