Class Description:
My classroom is very 'student-centered'. The children sit in groups, and work in groups. There is a computer center, a library center with many different types of reading materials, and several areas for group work. I try to incorporate 'hands-on' activities as much as possbile, and encourage my students to be independent thinkers.

About Me:
I am a change of career teacher. When my children were in elementary school, I went back to get my teaching degree. My children are grown and I spend more time traveling and gardening.

B.S. in Finance from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana Mastersof Education from St. Xavier University
