Why I need this:
I teach at an engineering magnet school. My students thrive on hands-on learning experiences and technology. They have had an opportunity to use a 3D printer but it would be amazing to have one of our very own!! My students have been inspired by students at another school who have created prosthetic hands for children and a toy car for a special needs child. They seek out ways to help others and a 3D printer would allow endless opportunities to do so! |
