Class Description:
My classroom is a wonderful learning place for Transitional First Grade (T-1). T-1 students are those coming out of Kindergarten that are not developmentally ready for first grade. My students need some time to bloom and be prepared for First Grade.

My Philosophy:
I believe that all children can learn and that the best way for children to learn is through hands-on play. I strive to create a loving, playful atmosphere where children feel free to be themselves and help each other.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been a teacher for seven years and have taught First, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades. My husband is also a teacher. I have three beautiful children.
College and Degrees:
I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Orleans in Business Management. I have a Masters Degree in Teaching from Southeastern Louisiana University. I have completed post-graduate work in Educational Technology from Northwestern Louisiana State University. I am certified to teach Pre-K through 6 Regular Education and K-12 Special Education.
Activities:
I love reading, watching movies, and playing with my children.
