Position:
Forensic Science Teacher and Certified Crime Scene Investigator
Needs:
We need two, good digital slr cameras so that students can have the experience of recording their tests which are crime scenes. They also need to experience photographing evidence and preparing it for presentaion in the courtroom.
My Philosophy:
All students can learn and will be more involved with their classes if opportunities for investigation make up the bulk of the class instead of "cookbook." labs.I provide them many opportunities each week to investigate evidence and create notebooks full of documentation of their work. I rarely lecture and find that they learn more when they do the work themselves.
