Class Description:
I teach a great group of kids with a variety of disabilities. We have 5 different classes that are small in size but are giant in the desire to learn. Here the most challenged find a home and a space to learn the hardest tasks. For many of my students, they must hear the same item over 100 times to make it stick for that one piece of instruction. That makes a very determined group of kids!!!

We really need more technology in the classroom such as computers. tablets, iPads, SMART Board, and interactive materials.
My Philosophy:
Any child can and wants to learn. My job is to find the way to make that happen!

Why Do I Teach?:
I have always loved to work with kids and here at Ayden Middle I have a home. My students have a strong desire to learn and I want them to go to the top of their skill levels. My school is in a low income area where most of the students have free or reduce lunches so funds are limited but still my student work hard to do their best. They are a great inspiration for me.
