Rockville High School
Class Information:
Room Number: Library
Students per Class: 1100
Class Description:
Library is place where many classes come to use computers because the H.S. does not have a dedicated computer lab for teachers to use. There are some periods of the day where the library computers are the only computers available to students or teachers.
Position:
Librarian Media Specialist
Needs:
Computers, technology tools, video (flips are nice too), miscellaneous supplies
My Philosophy:
Computers and related technologies are the tools students of today use to learn, research, document, word process, create, synthesize and display their findings as they create new projects, powerpoints, webpages, newspapers or newsletters, etc. The computers are todays pens, pencils, posters, chalkboards, etc. We need to provide access to them so students feel comfortable and confident by graduation to go out and use new technologies in their jobs whatever they go on to work on.
