Why Do I Teach?:
I chose teaching as my profession because children are our future. I had some amazing teachers growing up and know the difference just one person can make in a child's life. I feel that it is a privilege to be able to work with today's kids and have a positive impact on our future. School is sometimes the only place a student can go where they feel safe and loved. I always wanted to be the person that tells a student who has been doubted their whole life, "Yes, you can do that and this is how to get there." I am only in the beginning years of my career as a teacher and look forward to continuously growing as a professional and as a person.
