Calling all Superheros...My students walk into my classroom excited and ready to learn. Our classroom consist of both A.M and P.M Gen Ed. / Spec. Ed Pre-K students that range from the age of 3-5 years old.
Our Pre-Kindergarten children participate in a variety of educational activities during the school day, which runs from 9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the half-day program , Monday through Friday.
I work with preschool-age children with a variety of disabilities. I help children reach their learning potential and modify the curriculum to meet the needs of each individual child.
As a teacher that serves in a low income/high poverty school district of students that range from Pre-K thru 6th grade we try our best to prepare these children for future success in school, work, and life. I am looking to provided my students with a creative/fun learning experience.
Children'sexperiences play a significant role in the way their brains develop, and the way a child's brain develops plays a significant role in the future success of the child. When students are fully engaged in a task, they are actively doing and actively thinking. While hands are engaged, minds should be questioning, sorting through sensory input, and making connections.
Mystudents need a variety of materials that focus on alphabet letters, colors, numbers, and shape recognition, as well as fine/gross motor materials to aid in a hands-on learning experience during small and whole group instruction.
Learningcenters within our classroom are designed to offer a variety of materials, designs, and media through which students can work by themselves or with others to learn he concept at hand. These materials such as magnetic alphabet fishing will enhance the learning of that concept.
Your generous donation to our project will improve our Pre-Kindergarten classroom by building a stronger student. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and have fun while doing so!
