Jordan High School
Class Information:
Room Number: 309
Students per Class: 155
Class Description:
I teach in a suburban area of the Minneapolis area in Minnesota. A small community of roughly 5300, with an average graduating class around 105. My classes are taught in the computer lab, working now with software that is over 8 years old.
Position:
Business / Technology Teacher
Needs:
We would really like to update our current software. We are using software that is over 8 years old, that includes Microsoft Office and Macromedia suite. Also, we would really like a partial mobile lab or about 12 - 15 laptops that would allow classes to be outside of the classroom lab or the classroom.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been at Jordan School District for 6 years now. I am married and have 2 daughters and 2 sons. I believe so strongly in t his district and the staff here, that I have chosen to open enroll my children here at Jordan School District. My work experience ranges from Restaurant Manager to Website Developer. I chose to pursue a career in teaching because I was always training and helping my fellow colleagues learn new tricks and be more efficient when working with technology.
College and Degrees:
I attended South Central Technical College in North Mankato and received a AAS in Microcomputer Support. Once I graduated, I enrolled at Minnesota State University, Mankato and four years later received my BS in Management Information Systems. I received my teachers license in Business / Technology education from Winona State University.

I truly enjoy doing anything outdoors - Camping, running, riding bike and hiking. Also, I am an assistant varsity track coach.
Favorite Books:
I know it may seem kiddish - but I absolutely love reading anything by Gary Paulsen.
