Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because of the joy it gives me. I love to make learning 'fun' for my students. I believe that the more children do and experience, the more they learn and retain.I t is a wonderful experience to see a child's eyes 'light up' when he/she finally understands a concept which has been a struggle. I love to see the progress a child makes academically during a school year. I am such a powerful influence in the lives of my students. Sometimes my students need to have an extra hug or smile, that's also part of my job. Sometimes they need a 'cheerleader', that's my job. I help my students understand how to be a good citizen and a productive member of society.
