Class Description:
100% Title I school in Urban South Los Angeles. The neighborhood is gang-ridden and high-poverty, but the kids coming in the door are bright and eager to learn!
Position:
Advanced Stud. Teacher
Needs:
Technology is absent. Most classes have no computers, we have no smart boards or even TVs. Most things we have of this nature we bring in ourselves.
My Philosophy:
Every child has the potential to be incredible. Neighborhood, background and socio economics hide geniuses in the making. My job is to give students opportunities to shine and to provide experiences that plant the seeds of a thirst for lifelong learning.
