Class Description:
We are an amazing class of well rounded students. No one student is the same! Our class is an inclusion class, we have students from all areas of life, Exceptional Learning, Language Learners, Gifted and much more. We are from all different backgrounds of the world but all strive to learning! Our school is a Title 1 school in a high poverty area. Our class is a safe, fun, and loving environment for all.

My Philosophy:
I believe that I am not there to lecture students but to more of a facilitator and help them discover their knowledge and widen their perspectives. Student need to be active and have a engaging learning environment.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have a passion for teaching and learning. I am also a mother to two amazing girls. We love our active lifestyle. Some of our favorite things to do are camping, bike riding, swimming in the local lakes, fishing and hunting. Adventure is the way to go!
College and Degrees:
I graduated from Florida Southern University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and continue to add to my degree. I have received my reading endorsement and currently working on preparing for my ESE certification.
Activities:
My family and I enjoy anything to do with outdoors, fishing, camping and much more.

I enjoy books that are filled with thrill and adventure. Hatchet, Holes, and the I survived series are a few of my favorite.

Employment History:
I have been employed within a school system since I was 18 year old. I have worked for Marion County School Board for 2 years as a Pre-K assistant, Levy County School Board for 1 year as an assistant and 2 years as a first grade teacher and for the Lake County School Board for 3 years as a Fourth Grade Teacher. I am excited to start my 4th year here in Lake County for the 2015-2016 school year.
Why Do I Teach?:
Teaching and inspiring has always been a lifelong dream of mind. The look on a students face when they have learned something new or finally understand the information, is priceless. I feel that I am not only helping them learn but they are also teaching me something new daily. Life is all about learning and discovering new things and together we are living a life full of adventure and discovery. 2 Teach is 2 Touch a life 4 ever!
