Class Information:
Room Number: 167
Students per Class: 100
Class Description:
I teach General Math-8, Pre-Algebra B, and Academic Algebra II
Position:
Math Teacher - Dept, Chair
Needs:
Three years back our TI received a grant for us to obtain projectors, sound system, VHS and DVD players and a Smartboard. The price to us was 9 online classes that took a minimum of 20 hours each. What did not come with the Smart Notebook were the math tools. I recently had a 30 day trial and they make not only my life easier, but really help the students when they are at the board and in their notes.
My Philosophy:
The " I can do it " attitude is what has gotten me through life. From paying for my own education to making AYP every year since PSSA has started.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have taught 31 years in the same school district. I have two children, one still in college and the other is a math teacher. My husband of 31 years is also a teacher at the elementary level.

I love to read, cook, and work out. If the weather is nice you can find my husband and myself on our four-wheeler going through the woods.
Interests:
I love th beach - the Outer Banks. I wish we could go every year.

31 years at the same school :)
Why Do I Teach?:
I love to see math connect with students who never thought they could do it. I have been in the profession for 31 years and believe that mathmatics is the universal language that will help students go into the 21st century.
