Why I need this:
We are a STEM Elementary School (this is a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Our students present a live news network every morning which is aired daily. Currently, we are just using the microphone that is built-in to the camcorder we use for filming. This microphone isn't very strong and it picks up all other noises and voices in the room, making it difficult for the viewers to hear the newscasters. Lapel microphones would eliminate this issue and make presenting our school news more effective. We have two newscasters so we would need two lapel microfphones. |

Why I need this:
Ponderosa is a STEM Elementary School (our focus is Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). These cameras would be available for my library classes. Currently, we do not have any digital cameras in the library for student use. Students could use them in conjunction with their library/digital media projects. In addition, I could barcode the cameras and catalog them in the library circulation system so that students and teachers could borrow them for classroom projects as well. |
