Class Description:
I work at an elementary school with approximately 800 students and 40 teachers. I do not have my own class; I work with all the teachers and students. What I do depends on their needs. I work with 5th creating school broadcasts, teaching them how to create multi-media presentations instead of reports. I've created multi-media animal reports with 2nd and 3rd graders, podcasts with 4th and 1st grade, worked with kindergarten and 1st grade learning basic computer skills. I've demonstrated lessons with a technology component as well as collaborated with teachers of all grade levels to create their own lessons integrating technology.

I believe that technology is a tool that should be used to support standards-based education. My job is to collaborate with teachers and students on ways to integrate technology into daily learning as well as share my enthusiasm for learning.

Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy learning myself and like sharing what I learn with others - both children and adults. I love the interaction that happens when everyone is learning together.
