Class Description:
My classroom is an ELD (English Language Development) language arts and social studies classroom where students listen to and learn how to speak, read, and write English. My students have moved to America mainly because their parents have been transfered and my classroom helps them develop the skills needed to be successful in English only classrooms.

Needs:
We would like to receive flip cameras and an iTouch class set to allow us to record our progress, use innovative ways to communicate with others, and use available applications to access curriculum content.
My Philosophy:
Since my students are from all over the world and often from countries that are in conflict, my philosophy is that my particular teaching situation requires me to help students see the global community that we are part of and to appreciate the valuable and diverse members we all are.

Working with students is an amazing career filled with daily moments of joy, wonder, and growth. I learn more from my students then I would from any other experience and feel honored to be sharing my love of learning with them everyday.
