Why Do I Teach?:
I teach this Emotionally Disturbed Students because all to often I hear people saying, "there is nothing to be done for them" or "why waste your time, they are choosing to act that way", etc. But these people couldn't be more wrong. I admire my students because they are usually dealing with something that causes their behavior. And no matter how bad things are for them, they still keep trying, coming to school, etc. If I were in there shoes, I think I would have shut off a long time ago.
