Clarion Limestone Elem School
Hometown:
Clarion
Class Information:
Students per Class: 880 District-wide
Class Description:
I am seeking iPads for our Title I program, which works exclusively with struggling learners. This individualized program allows us to differentiate instruction to meet our students' needs. We work with 3-5 students at a time throughout the entire day in this program.
Position:
Superintendent
Needs:
We need iPads for more interactive reading and math programs. I took over as superintendent at the beginning of the 15-16 school year, and I inherited a Pre-K program that is awesome; however, we have been offsetting costs using Title funds, which has ultimately taken away money that is typically used to buy needed supplies for our Title program; our Title program is top-notch, but we are struggling to find the funds to purchase the technology that could take us to the next level.
My Philosophy:
My most seminal belief is that we need to prepare students to be good people first; in other words, by modeling respect, character, and integrity, we can help students become caring, respectful, and critically-thoughtfulleaders.
