Class Description:
My classroom is composed of students with a variety of special needs. I teach students with Autism, mental, learning and behavior disabilities.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
I am in need of technology to incorporate 21st century learning into my classroom. We could use Flip Videos, Digital Cameras, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, and Smart Pens to benefit our curriculum to improve student success through their transition into post-secondary living, learning and working.

Activities:
Club 143 sponsor. Club 143 is an inclusion group at Anamosa High School that generates social interaction and acceptance between special needs and general studies students. This club has really taken off, and currently we have a wait list of general education students who want to join the club. This club has made my students feel a connection with the school and developed genuine friendships with students they would not have otherwise had contact with.
