Needs:
We are in a very rural area with limited technology. I am currently using an old projector with my Smart Board. It is very fuzzy and I would love to have a new one that is clearer.
My Philosophy:
Do whatever it takes! We are very competitive in our area in athletics. I use that enthusiasm in my classroom to succeed in academics as well.

About Me:
I am a go-getter who has a problem saying "no." Personally, I think that is a good thing. I have two children (7th and 12th grades). My husband and I own a Napa Auto Parts store in our town.
College and Degrees:
Auburn University, Auburn at Montgomery - BS Jacksonville State University - MS
Activities:
Golf Coach, Drama Sponsor, Current Alabama State Sponsor for the National Jr. Beta Club. Following my kids around for band and softball.

3 years in banking, 6 years as a system's analyst for Daughters of Charity Hospitals in Alabama. 15 years teaching at Clay County High School in Ashland, Alabama
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach 7th grade English, Drama 10-12, I am also the local and Alabama State Jr. Beta Club Sponsor. And the golf coach.
