My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique personalities, talents, and learning styles into the classroom. They are curious learners who love hands on activities, creative projects, and opportunities to work together.

My philosophy is to create a safe and supportive classroom where every child feels valued, encouraged, and capable of success. I strive to help each student reach their full potential while fostering a positive classroom community where everyone can learn and grow together.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach second grade because I want to make a positive difference in children’s lives. I hope my students leave my classroom not only stronger in reading, writing, and math, but also kinder, more confident, and excited about learning. Being able to inspire young learners and help shape their future is the reason I love teaching second grade.
