Class Description:
Our class is full of enthusiasm for learning. Our students work in cooperative groups together. We explore our world with hands on science lessons. Being in Alaska has its definite advantages for outdoor learning. We also use technology to keep us connected us to the rest of the world. We are working on our digital skills through digital journaling.
Needs:
We are in need of 3 digital cameras that will allow us to include more photos of our science explorations outside. We are also working on our personal digital journals and our class year book.
My Philosophy:
Our children are the future of our country and our world. They must all be given an opportunity to learn how to use the amazing technology that is before us. They are the ones that will find the cures for cancer, they are the ones that will be our doctorsand leaders and if we do not fully educate them to succeed, then we will reap what we so in the future. Every child can learn. It is our responsibility to provide them with a creative environment that will encourage the desire within them for lifelong learning.

I have 8 childrent, 15 grandchildren, 2 dogs, 5 frogs and lots of friends.

I enjoy sports, singing, playing the guitar and being with my family.
