I teach five sections of Global History and Geography I. This class is the first part of a two-year course that focuses on ancient civilizations. Since the content of this course deals with societies from such distant time periods, students often have a difficult time relating these cultures. Therefore, I am always looking for new ways to present information to students and assess their learning.

My Philosophy:
I believe that all students can learn. It is merely the individual learning styles and abilities that challenge students in the "one-size-fits-all"classroom. By integrating technology, differentiating my instruction to cater to my students intelligences, and allowing my students to demonstrate mastery in non-traditional ways, they will be better prepared with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century.
