Pioneer Elementary School
Hometown:
Parker, CO
Class Information:
Room Number: 102
Students per Class: 25
Class Description:
My first graders are active learners who constantly question how things work and why things happen. They are discovering new things each day and growing into lifelong learners. They are learning to collaborate with their peers, and communicate their knowledge to others. They are becoming critical thinkers by investigating their own questions.
Position:
Frist grade teacher
Needs:
I need to bring my class into the 21st century by integrating technology into our routines each day. We need to have iPads for our classroom to access information and extend their learning.
My Philosophy:
First graders learn best by doing and being active learners. They need rich resources to build their background information and make connections in their learning. The students live in a highly technological world outside the classroom, and I need to provide them with the tools to extend their learning with that technology in the clasroom as well
