Class Description:
I am the Technology TOSA. I teach in the computer lab, teach laptop lessons in the classrooms, teach GATE online discussion classes, run a technology club and many other unique programs.
Position:
Technology TOSA
Needs:
The computer lab is in need of cameras, printers, and any MAC computer equipment. I would also lke to get few microphones for students to add audio to their digital movies.
My Philosophy:
I feel that students should be encouraged to be creative thinkers. Students need to be encouraged to explore new ideas and not be afraid of failing. If they come with an idea I try my hardest to give them the toold to make their ideas take flight.

About Me:
I have been teaching for 23 years. I have taught grades 2,3,4,5 and am now the site technology TOSA>I enjoy learning and trying new ways to get and keep my students engaged.
College and Degrees:
I have my Bachlor's degree from Long Beach State in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in math. I received my masters from Azusa Pacific in Educational Technology.
Activities:
I enjoy spending time with my children doing outdoor activities. Skiing, hiking and anything at the beach. I also enjoy quilting, gardening and reading.
Favorite Books:
I like historical fiction books and any book where the title catches my fancy.

Employment History:
I have taught with Magnolia School District for 23 years at 2 different schools, 7 years at Marshall and the past 16 at Juliette Low.
Why Do I Teach?:
I love seeing the children's eyes light up when they "got it". I enjoy helping them solve problems and being there when they need a hand. Teaching is what I was Called to do. There is no greater reward.
