My Philosophy:
I have a passion for teaching and helping my students reach their fullest potential. It is imperative that teachers be prepared to teach students in today's culture. No longer can we lean on textbooks to "teach" students. That must be done by competent teachers who are committed to ensuring that all students learn at a high level. Teachers must believe that students will learn because of the their efforts and they must not accept excuses for their students’ low achievement.

I have been teaching for 20 years, primarily in the middle grades. I have all the core subjects in single, self-contained classrooms, and also math and science in departmentalized middle schools.
