My Philosophy:
Rachel Carson, a renowned nature author, writes, “If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.” I believe that all children have a sense of curiosity and desire to learn. Applying what we teach to the real world should become a habit because everything can be connected to something children know and experience in their everyday lives. Doing this leads to meaningful learning, which I believe is essential for children. Teaching children fundamental concepts will help them become good citizens, which is crucial for making it in our world. Now, more than ever, that includes technology!!!
