Class Description:
I teach at a low income elementary school. I have only one out dated computer which is difficult to use with the latest and more updated technology. I would love to have the appropiate technology to expose my students to world wide expierences. We are only allowed one field trip a year. If I had the means to take my students to virtual field trips would be a dream come true, My students are eager to learn and love to work as a team. I have five learning stations in my classroom. My students would love it if we had a computer/technologystation.

Needs:
We need a copy machine, we have only one for the entire school to use. It breaks down at least twice a week. It would be great to have working computers in my classroom for my students to use daily. The following items would be great: Film projector, Screen,computers with printers, tape recorders and headphones.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students, when given the opportunity can succeed. When a child has background expierences the learning process is easier for them. My job as an educator is to take what the child brings into my classroom and give them the expierence of the love of learning. When a child leaves my classroom they will feel that they can learn anything do anything and succeed in anything they set their minds to.
