iGuy Protective Frame for iPad Mini Rank:
Chili Pepper Why I need this:
Quantity: 5 Price: $20.99
Meet iGuy — the free-standing foam case for iPad mini. Every bit as protective as he is a blast to use, iGuy is the perfect iPad mini accessory for kids and grownups alike. He's lightweight, easy to hold, and he can stand on his own two feet, even while holding up your iPad mini. He may look like he’s all about fun, but his soft, squishy body disguises tough EVA foam protection. iGuy will help you feel more secure as you hand your iPad mini over to your baby or small child!

Glade Creek Elementary School
Hometown:
Ennice, NC
Class Information:
Room Number: 2205
Students per Class: 66
Class Description:
Our small, K-8 school is nestled in the midst of a rural farming community, where we have approximately 100 middle school students, many of whom come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced lunch. Our students are a vital part of our community; many work on local farms and are committed, hard-working and diligent both at home and at school. Despite their many challenges, our students have a love for learning and a desire to be successful in the classroom
Position:
7th and 8th Grade ELA Teacher
Needs:
Our classroom is in great need of individual student devices. These will allow them to become more active learners, authors and producers, rather than just consumers of information. By building and fostering a technology rich environment in our classroom, we will enable our students to actively communicate, collaborate, think critically and create products while building the skills that will encourage them to become lifelong learners.
My Philosophy:
I believe that every student deserves to learn in a safe, stimulating environment, in which they are encouraged to communicate, collaborate, think critically and create in an atmosphere of respect and rapport. I believe that as their teacher, it is my responsibility to guide and support them by helping them to become independent and confident learners.
