I teach all of the students at Rockland Woods computers and library media. We have a very diverse population of students, and they all need computer skills to be ready for 21st century learning!
Position:
library media/tech coordinator
Needs:
Laptop computers. When our building was constructed we were purchase only one 12 computer mini lab. It simply isn't enough for over 575 students to be sharing 12 computers! Our stationary lab is usually booked by me every day all day for instruction, so our classroom teachers are simply unable to do any digital learning with their students!!
My Philosophy:
All children deserve to be exposed to technology and how it can be used to enhance their ability to learn. I feel that no child should have to share a computer, they all should have a hands on learning experience!!
