Class Description:
Veterinary Assisting 1-3 is designed to develop competencies in the areas of animal digestive systems, animal breeding, preventive medicine and disease control, control of parasites, animla marketing, and analyzing records. Agscience-Thiscourse is designed ot develop competencies in the areas of agricultural history and the global impact of agriculture, career opportunities, scientific and research concepts, biological and physical science principles, environmental principles, ag safety, leadership and employability skils, agribusiness, and human relations skills in agriscience.

Needs:
Our program is in need of technology to help reach and teach the students. Our classroom has only four computers for the 35 students that are inrolled in the class. If we had technolgy we could better intergrate our lessons into a more understandable and hads on format for the students.
My Philosophy:
I am an agricultural educator by choice and not by chance. I believe in American agriculture; I dedicate my life to its development and the advancement of its people. I will strive to set before my students by my deeds and actions the highest standards of citizenship for the community, state and nation. I will work for the advancement of agricultural education and I will defend it in my community, state and nation. My love for youth will spur me on to impart something from my life that will help make for each of my students a full and happy future.
