Great End of the Year activity!

1. Students are either assigned/or select an academic concept they "are good at."
2. Teacher selects a question or prompt that the student will use to solve or explain the concept. For example, give a student the problem: 7 x 1/2.
3. Student plans how he/she will teach/explain the question/prompt.
4. Student presents to teacher so ensure correct explanation and completeness of the explanation are present. Check any visuals/models student will use.
5. Student makes a mock-up of the interactive whiteboard specific for the concept/prompt.
6. Once approved by teacher, student can create the interactive whiteboard.
7. Using an ipad, students can work together to record a student presenting the interactive whiteboard lesson.
8. Presentation can be uploaded to google classroom for teacher to incorporate in instructional plans, student resources, or parent cheat-sheet!
