I teach 20 bright and beautiful preschoolers in the west side of Chicago. I am looking to bring a SMART board to my classroom for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that my kids desperately need to become more computer and technology literate. Illinois is moving to a computer based testing system and I am terrified that my kids will fall behind. Many, is not all, of my students do not have access to any computers at home or in their daily life. I believe that a SMART board will aid in building their confidence and literacy in technology. Also, my students have a variety of needs and a SMART board will allow me to reach various types of learners all at once. Please consider giving to this fabulous classroom!
