I am the computer teacher in a very low-income school district. There is no money or funding for the technology I need for my classroom or tech club. My goal is to expose my students to as much technology as possible, because they do not have many chances for exposure. When my students leave the school they do not go home to computers and tablets, which they deserve that chance to be exposed. The students are very smart, creative, and talented, but do not get the chance to show it off because of their income situations. That is why I am fundraising to obtain five tablets for my classroom and tech club, so the students can start being exposed to the opportunities that they deserve.
