I.P.A.D.S. (Interactive Progress And Developing Strategies) incorporates iPads and virtual field trips with my students. Our goal is that our classroom would have enough iPads for each student. They would work in teams, pick a unit of study, and create a presentation for the rest of the class using the iPads. An example of a unit of student would be the "Rain Forest". Through I.P.A.D.S. (Interactive Progress And Developing Strategies) my students will be able to experience the wonderful things outside of our small community. Students are interested in technology at such an early age so why not use that technology to increase their knowledge.

Why I Teach: My mother was a teacher. She loved children with all her heart. I hope that I am half the teacher she was. I love working with the students and sharing ideas with teachers. My daughter is now a teacher. We love to talk about school just like my mother and I did when she was alive.
