The 5th graders in San Jose Catholic currently have zero computers in the classroom. Group projects and research are impossible unless they leave the classroom to go to the computer lab. My highest achievers do not have the ability to move ahead as quickly as I would like because they do not have computer programs to work on independently. This fundraiser will allow me to get the laptops in the classroom, and to purchase computer programs (such as IXL) that will allow the students to have remediation, practice, and the ability to do higher level work if they are ready for it.
