We need iPad minis! These iPad minis will allow me to differentiate learning for each student. First grade is a critical year for reading growth and development! My students would use iPad minis daily, during reading instruction. Due to budget cuts, our book selections are limited. The iPads would allow my students to access millions of books and phonics activities that are tailored to the abilities, needs, and levels of each individual student. We would also use them during math groups daily to provide independent practice in fundamental math skills with activities that are customized for each student. My goal is to use these iPad minis to give my students access to the latest resources and technology available.
The iPads will allow them to practice the skills they need to master reading and math and to become 21st Century learners. They will also open new doors for my students and allow them to interact with the world around them in an exciting way.
