iPads needed to support K -1 students in bringing the library's resources into the classrooms. Currently students in grades K &1 use our electronic resources on chrome books while in the library, but they have no chrome books in the classrooms. They do have iPads. it would make more sense to teach our youngest students on the iPads. They will become literate in our many online tools earlier and easily make the transition to chromebooks in grade 2.
