I am raising money to be able to buy a Toshiba Thrive Tablet to use in my classroom. I teach an alternative learning class K - 6. Having the Toshiba Thrive Tablet would allow my students to be working on the tablet while I am working with other students. My students are in my classroom because they are having difficulty being successful in the regular classroom be it emotional problems, excessive absents, problems at home, etc.

Why I Teach: I teach ALE (Alternative Learning Environment). ALE is for students who are having difficulty being successful in the regular classroom. Some of those reasons are: moved a lot, family situation, ADD/ADHD, emotional concerns, autisim, etc.
