The 4th grade students at Fair Grove Elementary are currently sharing computers. We have available 1 computer per 3 students. I would like to raise enough money to purchase 18 new or used computers for my classroom. This will give my students the opportunity to work independently and in whole group throughout the day on their devices. One of the best things about technology in the classroom is the ability to personalize learning. This means that individual student needs are met. Some students need acceleration while other students need extra help and scaffolding. Technology gives students the ability to work on their education in a personalized format. Currently, students are limited in the classroom with opportunities to research and publish writing. More technology in the classroom means students have more opportunity to research, publish writing, work on typing skills, and grow with technology.
